Elron is a construction contracting company specializing in turnkey projects and in producing mobile and permanents buildings. Elron Design and Construction is in the construction business since 1987 and is considered to be one of the leading construction companies in Israel.

“Dryvit” model:
This building is constructed in one of the highest quality construction methods used in Israel.
The concrete floor includes an exterior covering of bitumen sheets over the peripheral steel beams. The exterior walls are of a total thickness of 15.5 cm and are covered with “Dryvit” type EIFS (Exterior Insulation and Finishing System) and are identical in appearance to conventional construction.
The interior surface is clad in gypsum board.
The roof is of a concrete-like material unique of its kind in Israel that looks like a conventional concrete roof. Its upper surface is finished with 4 mm thick welded single-ply bitumen sheets covered with white aggregate, minimum slope 1 – 2%.
This construction method provides an exterior horizontal parapet without screws, slopes or any sheet metal. The roof can bear installation of air conditioners and solar collectors, and is safe to walk on.
The roof includes 100 mm thick glass fiber insulation with an aluminum foil backing and either acoustic tile or gypsum board ceiling.

Panel model:
The building is constructed of modular panels that are certified by the Israeli Standards Institute. The construction method is fast, inexpensive and reliable for buildings of various purposes.
The floor is concrete covered with PVC sheets or tiles or ceramic tiles.
The exterior walls are polystyrene panels covered on both exterior and interior surfaces with sheet metal that is painted with white baked-on enamel paint. There is an option to spray stucco on the exterior surface and cover the interior with gypsum board, as detailed in the proposal.
The top roof is built of panels. The bottom surface is simulated metal panel ceiling or 60x60 cm acoustic ceiling tile.

Final price – The price quote includes all the items you really require in a building.
Classrooms are compliant with Israeli standards 921, 931 and 755 for fire resistance.

Technical specification for “Dryvit” model

Concrete floor – 5 to 8 cm thick concrete poured on steel beams. Usable load according to requirements (250 kg/m² standard). Covered with ceramic tiles, carpet, and/or PVC sheets/tiles. Overall thickness 26 cm.
“Dryvit” model exterior walls – 100 to 120 mm thick galvanized steel structure. The exterior side is covered with 12.5 mm thick water resistant plasterboard, attached with SELF DRILL type screws. A 12.5 mm thick foundation layer and 100 mm thick glass wool insulation are under the plasterboard. Exterior side is covered with two layers of “Thermokir” brand stone plaster applied with fiberglass mesh on 12.5 mm thick gypsum board with anti-condensation covering. Interior finish is smooth white synthetic paint. Exterior finish is textured decorative covering or acrylic plaster (Dryvit) color broken white. Overall thickness 13 – 15 cm.
Bitumen roof – Steel structure protected with anti-corrosive paint, covered with galvanized sheet metal, covered with water resistant plasterboard, covered with aggregate covered welded bitumen sheets with slopes and internal gutters. The roof is insulated with 100 mm thick glass wool insulation + aluminum or polyethylene foil cover.

Layered panel composed of two layers of 0.5 mm thick galvanized sheet metal with 50 mm of polystyrene insulation between them. (Panels may have up to 100 mm thick insulation) Exterior and interior metal surfaces are painted with white, oven baked paint. Interior surface may be covered with gypsum board with white paint (according to price quote). Exterior and interior finishing profiles colored white to match. Overall thickness 5 – 13 cm.
Panel roof – Steel structure protected with anti-corrosive paint (if required) covered with panel roof made from layered panels composed of two layers of 0.5 mm thick galvanized sheet metal 50 mm painted with oven baked white epoxy paint. The roof will have natural drainage. Top interior finish of oven baked white paint on sheet metal (similar to metal acoustic ceiling panels). An acoustic tile hung ceiling may be installed below (according to price proposal).

General technical specification
Ceiling – 61x61 cm vinyl coated fiberglass acoustical tile ceiling with white aluminum profile grid or gypsum board ceiling.
Interior walls – Stud walls with gypsum board on each side + glass wool insulation + paint.
Doors – Insulated steel main door, including lock, color white.
Interior door of white “Decoral” (wood textured melamine) with wood door frame, laminate covered door + solid ash wood edge.
Aluminum windows – White model 7000 aluminum sections, 3mm thick glass, aluminum shutters with plastic slats.

Utilities systems
Electrical – Electrical system that conforms to Israeli standards, including an electrical board with semi-automatic circuit breakers, step-down circuit breaker and structural grounding.
Insulation – Bitumen sheet underneath shower floor tiles, stone plaster + mesh for shower walls between gypsum board wall and ceramic tiles.
Plumbing and kitchen
S.P. type plumbing
Toilet - white ceramic + flush tank and faucet.
Wash basin – white ceramic 40/52 cm with counter top cold water faucet and trap.
Kitchen sink – 60/40 cm white ceramic with hot and cold water wall mounted faucet.
Shower –shower basin and wall mounted hot and cold water faucet.
Kitchen cabinet – “Home Center” standard particle board.
Marble counter top – “Hebron” marble or according to selection.
The specification is general and the deciding specification is the attached bill of quantities.
The specification may be changed according to the customer’s demands.

Advantages of Elron “Dryvit” model building with bitumen roof

Dear Customer, The building that we are proposing to you has the following additional advantages, as detailed:

Detail

1. A protective bitumen sheet that is glued on to prevent contact with the ground or exposure to the surroundings covers the peripheral steel beam.
2. The exterior wall is covered with “Dryvit” which is as strong as conventional construction (see specification). The exterior finish is acrylic plaster which looks different from spray stucco.
3. The roof we are proposing is a concrete-like roof whose top finish is a welded 5 mm thick bitumen sheet + aggregate covering, at a 1.5% slope. This roof can hold various equipment. The roof’s gutters are internal and hidden from view by the walls. This type of roof provides a building with straight and horizontal parapets.
4. Smooth or chiseled stone window sills are installed in the building’s windows, according to the architect’s selection.
5. Showers and bathrooms – special water protection is implemented in the showers – The floor underneath the showers is covered with bitumen sheets. Green gypsum board walls (water resistant) are covered with cement plaster with special fiberglass mesh and only on this do we glue the ceramic tiles. This special treatment provides many years of reliability. Details and sections are provided in the attached brochure.
